Since 2024, Kabal and Equinor have been working together on an initiative to improve operations on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
Kabal was founded in 2011 by Jan Inge Pedersen and Fredrik Larsen, two entrepreneurs with deep experience in oil and gas logistics and IT. From day one, the goal was clear: to solve the complex challenges in energy logistics with smart software, enabling operators to manage and move critical resources with greater precision and ease.
In 2024, we expanded our capabilities by acquiring Trackit Energy, strengthening our personnel logistics features. This was followed by the acquisition of IronSight in 2025, which added onshore field operations to our platform. Today, we offer a comprehensive logistics solution that provides full control over the movement of cargo and personnel, across both offshore and onshore operations.
