Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Kabal, the global leader in energy logistics software, is proud to announce its partnership with the Dignity for Children Foundation in Malaysia. This collaboration supports the Faisal Cup, a football tournament that unites hundreds of underprivileged children and youth.

This past weekend, these budding stars played their hearts out, their faces radiating joy and determination. Adding to the excitement of the event, each one of them proudly sported a new kit, sponsored by Kabal.

Nick Hegreberg, Chief Communications Officer at Kabal, shared his thoughts on the partnership: “The Faisal Cup, named after a boy whose story deeply resonated with us, provides a platform for these young individuals to display their talent, determination, and spirit. Upon learning about Faisal’s story and the profound impact of the tournament, we at Kabal felt an immediate connection and knew we had to contribute. We believe in the transformative power of sport to change lives and instill a sense of pride and dignity in each child. By sponsoring the kits, we aim to provide these children with more than just new uniforms – we hope to foster a sense of community, a feeling of belonging to a team, and the confidence to dream of a brighter future.”

“Kabal’s participation in the Faisal Cup transcends mere sponsorship. It signifies a pledge to nurture the aspirations of these young talents, aiding them in their pursuit of dreams on the football pitch and beyond. Thanks to Kabal’s support, we were able to provide each of our players and coaches with their own kits – shirts, shorts, and socks, which they could keep also after the tournament. Their contribution has been priceless and has made a profound difference in the lives of these children,”
said Jeremy Chin, Sports Project Lead at Dignity.

The grand finals of the Faisal Cup will be held at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium in Kuala Lumpur in mid-July. Kabal extends their best wishes to all participants and looks forward to celebrating their achievements.

Here’s to the power of pride, the joy of football, and the hope of a brighter future.
